Parade of Lights

Friday night was the annual Carrington Parade of Lights. Some friends of mine do a float every year, so this year we just decorated a trailer and the kids rode and sang carols. We had a great time. Of course, the weather was crazy. All week long it has been in the high 30's and 40's, then at 5:00 on Friday it started snowing, the temp dropped and the wind picked up to about 30 mph. We did our float anyway. What a fun Christmas tradition.

The kids rode (Laura, Tiff, Tracy and I jogged) down main street from the police station all the way to the nursing home. Then at the nursing home we went caroling to the residence. We had so much fun that we decided to keep going around town and caroling. We stopped at the hospital and a couple of older peoples homes and sang some Christmas songs. By that time we were frozen and so we headed to Laura's house for Cocoa and treats.
