Grandma and Grandpa Visit

My mom and Brick made a quick trip this weekend to celebrate mine and Brooklyn's birthdays a little early. I sure love it when family is here. That's an open invite...to EVERYONE!

Band

Brooklyn and Rylee have both joined their school band this year. Brooklyn is playing clarinet and Rylee trombone. Here is a little clip of a practice session with some friends. Truly beautiful music!

Summer Summer Summertime (The Rest)

The rest of the summer was filled with:
Rylee's 10th Birthday

Adapting to a new pet.

 Lots of friend time.

And lots of time at Lake Oahe.

And then, sorrow of all sorrows, it was back to school day on August 19th. Rylee entered 5th grade and Brooklyn 7th.

And summer is over. :(
